"DEAD STAR TALK are moving fast with their celebration of loud guitars, big choruses and rock with attitude. The quartet only started rehearsing in June 2020, but already had their debut album recorded by December 2020, while hitting the "post-pandemic" 2021 live circuit running with explosive shows at legendary festivals such as Rolling Stone Beach (DE), Reeperbahn Festival (DE) and SPOT Festival (DK). Even with the band members being based in two different cities and countries (Copenhagen (DK) and Hamburg (DE)), it didn’t seem difficult. DEAD STAR TALK were off and running.

The debut album (confirmed for Q. 1 2022) was recorded with legendary, Grammy-winning Metallica producer Flemming Rasmussen. Expressing his excitement about DEAD STAR TALK, Flemming enthuses “as a producer with more than 40 years of experience, I can honestly say that it’s rare to come across a band with this kind of authentic love for the big

rock songs. Especially in 2021. It’s special to find a band with this kind of attitude, energy and natural gift for the big sing-along choruses.”

The first singles have enjoyed countless rotations/plays on influential radio stations such as BBC (UK), SiriusXM (US) MDR Jump (DE), EgoFM (DE) and Anty Radio (PL), and support from the likes of MTV legend Markus Kavka (EgoFM), Bremen Vier rock music ambassador Peter Spalek and WDR 1Live institution Klaus Fiehe, and music media support from the likes of Diffus Mag (DE), Kulturnews (DE) and Classic Rock DE (DE).... this has resulted in +1000 radio plays (primarily in DE, PL and UK).

"Singer/songwriter boldly marrying the supposed opposites of Britpop and grunge, who in his own words is sure he will end up playing the biggest gigs, while reaching millions of people across the globe with his guitar-driven anthems.

Yeah, George Hennessey doesn’t lack ambition. By looking to the greats, the South London-born and -dwelling singer-songwriter knows where he wants to go and knows the capacity of rock to change lives. In August 2003, at Twickenham Stadium, The Rolling Stones were the first band he saw live. When he was 15 in 2007, his father took him to see the reunited Sex Pistols – twice. With these formative experiences it’s unsurprising that George’s debut release, the Purified EP (produced by Jamie Ellis – known for his work with The 1975), is the equivalent of a one-two punch. The first blow hits hard. The second has a lasting effect. There’s no tentativeness, no messing about. He knows exactly what he

wants to do.

George Hennessey hasn’t wasted his time during the pandemic, finishing his debut album with Metallica’s legendary producer Flemming Rasmussen (an album that will be mixed by UK sensation Pastel’s hyped producer James Kenosha), and playing at massive 2021 festivals such as Isle of Wight (UK), Victorious (UK) and Rolling Stone Beach (DE),

George Hennessey is about to hit the ground running in 2022."
