Scottish Books Showcase – Year of Focus

Join us for the inaugural event of Scottish Books International’s exciting new international programme. 

Four Scottish writers – Chitra Ramaswamy, Lisa Ballantyne, Sara Sheridan and James Robertson – will present their work at this live reading and discussion event. 

The showcase will also feature a performance by Glasgow-based folk trio Assynt, known for the contemporary take on traditional Scottish music. 

The program aims to connect Scottish writers and publishers with their German counterparts, while showcasing Scotland’s exceptional literary and musical talent.

Supported by funding from Creative Scotland and organized in collaboration with the Scottish Government Office in Berlin, Germany.
